古来より日本の宗教界において「永遠の光」として金屏風、神社仏閣などに用いられ、伝統工芸分野で重宝されてきた金箔。近年では料理の飾り付けや化粧品、スキンケア製品、織物、アクセサリーなど、日常生活の様々な場面で広く利用されその魅力に注目が集まっています。
箔は、金属（金、銀、プラチナ、銅など）を極めて薄く延ばしたものであり、その代表的存在が「金箔」です。金箔の魅力は、熟練の技術により生み出される煌びやかで優美な金の輝きにあります。向こう側が透けるほどに薄く、そして均一に打ち延ばす職人の技術が「箔」を作り出しています。何年もの精進を積んだ職人による数々の繊細な工程を経て、生まれた箔。その輝きと薄いテクスチャーの特性を活かし、歴史的な建築物の装飾や工芸品など、様々な分野で幅広く愛されてきました。

Gold leaf, historically revered as the "Eternal Light" within Japan's religious community, has been cherished in traditional crafts and used to adorn gold screens, shrines, and temples. In recent years, its allure has extended to various aspects of daily life, including culinary garnishes, cosmetics, skincare products, textiles, and accessories.
Gold leaf is a type of foil created by hammering metals such as gold, silver, platinum, or copper into extremely thin sheets. Among these, gold leaf stands out for its dazzling and elegant glow, a result of the masterful skills of artisans. The process of creating gold leaf involves hammering it so thin that it becomes almost translucent, requiring extraordinary precision and years of dedication. This meticulous craftsmanship gives birth to the delicate texture and brilliance of the leaf, making it a beloved material for decorating historic architecture and crafting exquisite art pieces across various fields.

AISHITERUの金箔アクセサリーシリーズは、石川県金沢市の「箔座」とのコラボレーションにより誕生した光と影の対比を美しく表現したプロダクトです。レイヤーシリーズに代表されるこのアクセサリーは、透明なアクリル素材に２種類の箔をリバーシブルに使い、経年変化で自然に箔が剥がれたような「きれい寂び加工」を施しています。重なり合う二つの箔が光と影の層を生みながら絶妙な調和を見せる、箔職人によるクラフトアクセサリーです。
定色と三歩色は金を中心に銀や銅を合金して作られる「金箔」。定色は純銀の配合率を高くし、まるで月の輝きのような静謐で上品な質感が魅力。三歩色はライトゴールドの色合いがさわやかで優しい印象を与えます。
また、薄納戸色と暗紺色は、銀100％の箔にカラーコーティングした銀箔。藍のグラデーションの中に宿る静けさや豊かさを感じさせます。銀の特性上、経年変化も味わいのひとつとしてお楽しみいただけます。

AISHITERU’s gold leaf accessory series is a collaboration with “Hakuza,” located in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, and beautifully expresses the contrast between light and shadow. Represented by the Layer Series, these accessories use two types of gold leaf reversibly on transparent acrylic material, giving them a naturally weathered “beautiful decay” finish, as if the gold leaf had naturally peeled off over time. Crafted by gold leaf artisans, these accessories showcase exquisite harmony as the overlapping gold leaf layers create layers of light and shadow.
The colors “Sada-iro” and “Sanbu-syoku” are made from gold leaf, where gold is combined with silver or copper. “Sada-iro” contains a higher proportion of pure silver, offering a serene and elegant texture reminiscent of the moon’s brilliance. “Sanbu-syoku” has a refreshing and gentle impression with its light gold hue.
On the other hand, “Usunando-iro” and “Ankon-syoku” are silver leaf coated with color. They evoke a sense of tranquility and richness within the gradation of indigo. Due to the nature of silver, you can also enjoy the aging process as part of their charm.

The necklace features a supple and elegantly glossy snake chain that complements the reversible colors of the pendant.
