ジーンズの祭典【Japan Denim Days】開催されました！

岡山県倉敷市児島で10月28日、29日と開催された「Japan Denim Days」。
イベントの実行委員長である眞鍋寿男の挨拶から始まりました。
「Japan Denim Days」はデニムの日（10月26日）にちなんで、2019年から毎年10月に開催されるイベント！
プロフェッショナルによるモノづくりが体験できるワークショップや、青空縫製工場と題した、普段は見ることのできないジーンズの製造過程を実際に見ることが出来るブースなど、日本のジーンズの都として「ミシュランガイドグリーンブック」にも掲載されている児島だからこその、拘りが詰まった2日間！
イベントに限らず、児島には地元ジーンズメーカーのショップが並ぶ「児島ジーンズストリート」もあります！遊びに来てくださいね。
"Japan Denim Days" was held on October 28th and 29th in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture, Japan. The event began with a greeting from the executive committee chairman, Mr. Masanobu Manabe.
"Japan Denim Days" is an annual event that has been held since 2019 in October, in commemoration of Denim Day (October 26th). It features workshops where you can experience craftsmanship by professionals and booths where you can actually see the manufacturing process of jeans, which is not usually visible, under the theme of "Blue Sky Sewing Factory." Kojima, listed in the "Michelin Guide Green Book" as the denim capital of Japan, is known for its dedication and craftsmanship, making this a special two-day event.
Not limited to the event, Kojima also has "Kojima Jeans Street," where you can find shops of local denim manufacturers. Please come and enjoy your visit!
